## mGBA

- Authors: Jeffrey Pfau (endrift) and mGBA contributors.
- License: Mozilla Public License 2.0; full text in `licenses/mgba-LICENSE.txt`.
- Runtime version used by this preview: **mGBA 0.11-212-7a12d6d** (development build).
- Binary: unmodified `mgba_libretro.dll`, from the official [Libretro buildbot](https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/windows/x86_64/latest/mgba_libretro.dll.zip).
- Binary SHA-256: `02747C2A77EA4ED9738C967D101A207A81973233588F68D39F5AB923A1A9599C`.
- Corresponding source revision: [7a12d6d4b9acb14c0ae62c9166b6a2f3d08007f6](https://github.com/libretro/mgba/tree/7a12d6d4b9acb14c0ae62c9166b6a2f3d08007f6).
- Source archive: [download exact revision](https://codeload.github.com/libretro/mgba/zip/7a12d6d4b9acb14c0ae62c9166b6a2f3d08007f6). A copy is included in packaged builds under `source/`.
- mGBA attribution and its bundled libraries are described in `licenses/mgba-README.md` and the source archive. This application does not modify mGBA.

The buildbot's `latest` URL is mutable. Builds of KozoBoy verify the vendored DLL against the hash above and do not replace it automatically. State files require the same core version and ROM hash.

## Libretro cheat database

- Source and contributors: [libretro/libretro-database](https://github.com/libretro/libretro-database/tree/master/cht/Nintendo%20-%20Game%20Boy%20Advance).
- License: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International; full text in `licenses/cheat-LICENSE.txt`.
- The 12 bundled Pokémon `.cht` files are unmodified copies. The index lists more than 500 GBA catalogs. The application may refresh the index and download selected catalogs from the same repository. An additional upstream file, `Pokemon Unbound`, has no `.cht` extension and is not offered as a native cheat catalog by the index.
- Imported native codes are normalized in memory; database source files are cached without modification. Names and descriptions remain as supplied by the source, usually in English.
- Region, revision and ROM hacks can change cheat compatibility. Name matching does not certify that a code works with a ROM. Cheats are never activated merely by downloading a catalog.

## .NET runtime

Self-contained Windows packages include .NET 8.0.33. Its MIT license and third-party notices are included as `licenses/dotnet-LICENSE.txt` and `licenses/dotnet-ThirdPartyNotices.txt`, copied from [dotnet/runtime v8.0.33](https://github.com/dotnet/runtime/tree/v8.0.33).

## Original demo

The bundled demo is original homebrew generated by `DemoRom.cs`, under KozoBoy's MIT license. It contains no Nintendo logo, BIOS or commercial game assets. No commercial games are distributed with KozoBoy.

## Android 0.2.0

- mGBA revision remains `7a12d6d4b9acb14c0ae62c9166b6a2f3d08007f6`, version `0.11-212-7a12d6d`.
- Android binaries are unmodified Libretro buildbot cores, renamed from `mgba_libretro_android.so` to `libmgba_libretro.so` for loading by the frontend.
- ARM64 SHA-256: `B5A6ED40EDE735EA7F1D56916F4CEED8C2AABE4D481FE3383AE2B5E5485B6545`.
- x86_64 development core SHA-256: `946C8D859CCF1391C2BFBBC23AEF8B7A27870425B0B8E689FBB30DBD3D2927E1`.
- Download origins: [ARM64](https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/android/latest/arm64-v8a/mgba_libretro_android.so.zip), [x86_64](https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/android/latest/x86_64/mgba_libretro_android.so.zip). Builds verify the hashes above instead of auto-updating mutable URLs.
- Exact corresponding source: [mGBA archive at 7a12d6d4b9acb14c0ae62c9166b6a2f3d08007f6](https://codeload.github.com/libretro/mgba/zip/7a12d6d4b9acb14c0ae62c9166b6a2f3d08007f6). Included in the Android distribution ZIP under `source/`; the APK includes this source link and licenses in its About panel.
- The Android runtime uses .NET 10.0.14 and .NET for Android 36.1.2. .NET runtime MIT license and third-party notices are included in APK assets and the distribution, from [dotnet/runtime v10.0.14](https://github.com/dotnet/runtime/tree/v10.0.14).
- All packaged ARM64 native ELF load segments were checked for 16 KiB alignment, including mGBA and the .NET runtime. This structural check does not replace testing the app on a device.
